The universe's magnetic fields have been mapped in unprecedented detail, thanks to the collaborative efforts of astronomers and the power of Australia's ASKAP radio telescope. This groundbreaking achievement, known as the SPICE-RACS project, has revealed a mesmerizing magnetic sky, with red hues indicating fields pointing towards us and blue hues pointing away, akin to the North and South of a compass.
